Thanks to a tip from Cook’s Illustrated, I bought the AeroPress. It makes an excellent cup quickly with little effort and amazing results.

Best cup of coffee I ever had
Everything comes out smooth, rich, even, and delicate with a nice crema at the top and low acid. Even better than Blue Bottle Cafe’s $20K siphon bar coffee machine.

Dang good coffee, dang quick
This thing makes tasty coffee, period. It really does take about 30 seconds to brew and the coffee is smooth and not at all bitter.

Average coffee in a pinch
this is a decent coffee maker. If you do not have access to an espresso macine and like to have an average cappachino or americana it will do a pretty good job.
